Things to remember before the exam

After a long exam preparation, finally, it is time to perform in the exam. Going exam centre means you have no time left for more preparation. There are few exam tips which may be helpful before going to the exam centre. It is important to remember that you have been preparing for this exam and your motive is performing well and giving your best. Here are some exam tips and tricks which may be helpful before going to the examination centre.

Things to do before Exam Day:

Tip No. 1: Make sure you have details of the exam e.g. venue of the exam, exam timings, reporting time. If possible, the venue may be visited before the exam day. Finalize how to reach the exam centre.

Tip No. 2: Necessary documents like ID, hall ticket, pen etc. should be kept ready a day before the exam day.

Tip No. 3: Go through quickly all the syllabus before sleep. Go to bed early and get up early in the morning. Get ready in time.

On Exam Day:
Tip No. 4: Wake up early and get ready, take your breakfast, as usual, you take. Never take heavy breakfast. Take your time to get ready.

Tip No. 5:  Check your items which are required to carry with you like ID, hall ticket, Pen, Calculator (if allowed) etc. Keep them at a safe place like in a bag. In case you are going by public transport like Bus or Metro, check your travelling card (like the bus pass, metro card). Also, keep sufficient money with you including change.

Tip No. 6: Go to washroom/ toilet before the exam as a time during an exam is very crucial.

Tip No. 7: Reach the exam centre well before reporting time. Take your seat in time.

Tip No. 8: Take the questions paper and go through sections/ questions and have a quick plan of attempting. This should be as per your time management plan has already done days before the exam. Make sure to write your Roll number, name clearly.

Tip No.9: Now finally do the exam as per your plan. Do not waste time on doubtful questions and questions whose end is not clear. If there are MCQ and negative marking is there, attempt only those questions where you are sure.

Tip No.10:  In case, you have doubt on some questions, do not hesitate to ask from the invigilator. But never argue with them.

Tip No.11: Finish your exam paper. In case time is left, revise your answers.

Tip No. 12: Finally submit your exam. Take a deep and cool breath. You have done your job.
