HSSC (Haryana Staff Selection Commission) has invited on the line application form for the post of Constable and Sub-Inspector. There are total 6400 vacancies (5000 for Male Constable, 1000 for Female Constable & female) and 400 Sub-Inspector). The last extended date of applying was 15.07.2019.
Eligibility criteria: The applicant must have passed 10+2 and Hindi or Sanskrit should be one of the subjects at matric level or higher. Age limit is 18 to 25 years. However, there is upper age limit relaxation for reserved categories and Ex-serviceman.
Exam: HSSC will conduct Knowledge Test of 80 marks with 100 questions of 90 minutes duration. For each correct answer, there will be 0.80 marks. There is no negative marking. The exam dates will be soon notified and expected to be in August-September, 2019. The syllabus will include Computer Science, Hindi, General Studies, General Science, current affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal husbandry. At least ten questions in computer science will including programming in C/C++.
After qualifying Knowledge Test, candidates are required to clear further process of Physical Screening Test (PST). Further qualified PST candidates will go for Physical Measurement Test (PMT). And finally, PMT qualified candidates will go for the further selection process.
A scheduled and regular preparation will lead the candidates to success. It is highly advisable to applicants to practice on on-line mock papers i.e. e-mock papers. Several portals like sabakuch.com provide an e-mock test on HSSC constable exam. Candidates must attempt all 100 questions of Knowledge Test as there is no negative marking. Qualifying the exam is first criteria after successfully applying to proceed in the selection process. On the basis of exam performance, the number of candidates equivalent to seven times of actual vacancies of the post will be called for the next step of the selection process.
